COLERAIN TWP., Ohio-A 16-year-old boy, charged with the reckless homicide of 15-year-old Demarian Palmisano, was placed on house arrest following a court appearance. The judge released him to his mother, who assured the court that her son would be supervised at all times. The shooting occurred on August 4 on Laverne Drive, but the circumstances leading up to it are unclear. The boy’s mother described the incident as a complete accident. If the boy violates the terms of his house arrest, he will be sent back to juvenile detention. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for October 16.
