WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio-Ethan M. Rainer, an 18-year-old senior at West Carrollton high school, tragically died in a motorcycle crash near the Dayton Mall in Miamisburg. The crash occurred at the intersection of state Route 741/North Springboro Pike and Martins Drive, involving Rainer’s motorcycle and a Honda CR-V driven by a 70-year-old woman.
Rainer was pronounced dead at Kettering Health Main Campus. The crash is under investigation, and both Miamisburg police and fire departments assisted at the scene. West Carrollton Schools expressed condolences, noting Rainer’s upcoming graduation and providing support to students and staff.
