4 Columbus Police Cruisers Damaged During Stolen Car Chase; 2 Teens in Custody

COLUMBUS, Ohio-Two teenagers faced court after allegedly leading police on a chase in a stolen vehicle near the John Glenn Columbus International Airport. The chase, initiated by the Whitehall Division of Police, led to a collision with four cruisers.

Although no officers were injured, the severity of the incident raised concerns about the impact on the community. One of the teens had a history of fleeing from police, prompting officers to request detention. Whitehall Deputy Chief Dan Kelso expressed hope that the teens would understand the consequences of their actions. Both juveniles were held in detention pending their next hearing.
