$4 Million Bond Issued for Man Accused of Giving Fatal Dose of Benadryl to 3-Year-Old Boy

GROVE CITY, Ohio-A Franklin County judge set a $4 million bond for Randy Mollett, 35, who allegedly administered a fatal dose of Benadryl to a 3-year-old boy. Mollett faces charges including child endangerment, reckless homicide, and murder after deputies responded to an unresponsive child report on April 13.

The boy, whose identity hasn’t been disclosed, was under Mollett’s care. Mollett confessed to administering Benadryl, leading to the child’s death. Court records indicate previous charges related to child endangerment in 2008 and misdemeanor charges in 2017. Mollett’s next court appearance is scheduled for May 10.
