CANTON, Ohio-Canton firefighters responded to a residential fire on Greenfield Avenue SW on Monday afternoon, where a 5-year-old was reported to have started the blaze. Upon arrival around 3:40 p.m., firefighters found heavy flames coming from the second floor. Fortunately, all residents had evacuated the home before the firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported. The fire was extinguished, but the house sustained significant damage and is now uninhabitable. The Red Cross was contacted to assist the affected family.
