A 5-year-old boy riding a bike was injured Tuesday after being hit by an SUV around 5 p.m. According to officials at the scene, the crash happened just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of South and Spencer. Police said that the boy was taken to the hospital following the crash with what were believed to be serious injuries, but was later determined to have a concussion.
