A 7-year-old boy is now in stable condition after nearly drowning Friday night at a public pool at the Lonnie L. Burten Recreational Center in Cleveland. According to Cleveland Police, they received a call to the building on East 46th Street, near Outhwaite Avenue, just after 8:40 p.m. Once officers arrived, they began first aid immediately. EMS arrived on the scene and took the 7-year-old to a nearby hospital. His parents were notified of the incident.
