AKRON, Ohio-A 7-year-old boy named Kingston Solomon tragically died after being struck by a vehicle near Dahlgren Drive and Rosemary Boulevard just before 6 p.m. Police responded to find the child unresponsive and transported him to Akron Children’s Hospital in critical condition. Despite efforts, Kingston passed away the following day, July 12. The incident is under investigation by Akron Police’s accident reconstruction unit, with potential criminal charges pending once all details are clarified. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities during the investigation.
