CHILLICOTHE, Ohio- The Adena Health Foundation awarded $5,000 scholarships to 24 graduating seniors from various high schools across their service area. The scholarships, part of the Hope for our Future initiative, aim to support students interested in health care careers.
Recipients demonstrated high academic achievement and showed an interest in clinical or non-clinical aspects of health care. The scholarships were presented during a ceremony at the Carlisle Building in downtown Chillicothe. The initiative, made possible through fundraising efforts and community contributions, aims to cultivate local talent and encourage recipients to consider careers at Adena. Applicants had to meet specific academic criteria, submit essays, transcripts, college acceptances, and letters of reference related to health care education.
