The Anthony Wayne Local Schools Board of Education on Monday voted to appoint Kevin Herman as superintendent, effective immediately.
AWLS said Herman will lead the district through his intended retirement in September 2026.
“To ensure a smooth transition of leadership, the Board will soon begin a search for an Assistant Superintendent, with the intent of preparing that individual to assume the role of Superintendent upon Mr. Herman’s retirement,” the district said in a press release.
