WHITEHOUSE, Ohio-The Anthony Wayne schools Board of Education plans to name Kevin Herman, the current assistant superintendent, as interim superintendent during a June 27 meeting. This decision follows the announcement of current superintendent Jim Fritz’s departure to Oregon City Schools, with his last day at Anthony Wayne set for July 31.
Fritz will briefly assume the role of associate superintendent at Oregon City Schools before officially taking over as superintendent on September 28, succeeding Hal Gregory. Fritz has served as superintendent at Anthony Wayne for 14 years.
