SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP, Ohio-Apollo Career Center recently hosted its annual All Area Board Meeting to commemorate School Board Recognition Month and kick off Career and Technical Education Month. The event honored board members from Apollo’s partner schools for their crucial role in guiding educational policies.
Attendees also celebrated outstanding students and alumni, recognizing the board members’ often overlooked contributions to education. Keith Horner, Apollo’s superintendent, highlighted the importance of expressing gratitude to board members who shape the educational landscape. Additionally, Springview Manor received the Employer of the Year award for its commitment to providing diverse employment opportunities and training for Apollo students.
