DOWNTOWN AKRON, Ohio-During the May 6 meeting of the Akron Public Schools (APS) Board of Education, a revised policy regarding public participation at board meetings was unanimously approved. The updated policy allows public participation at all regular, special, and committee meetings, with rules including registration upon arrival, a three-minute speaking limit per participant, and a 20-minute overall time limit unless extended by the Board.
