Audit reveals $30K overpayment to now-closed Cincinnati school; state seeks recovery

An audit has uncovered significant record-keeping issues at the now-closed Priority High School, which operated from 2020 until its board decided to cease operations in June of last year. The audit revealed that the school received nearly $30,000 more from the Ohio Department of Education than it was entitled to. The state plans to recover these tax dollars from the school’s operators.
