PARMA, Ohio-On September 26th, Parma Police received a call about a baby lying in the parking lot of the Regency Apartments after the child fell from a sixth-floor balcony. The incident occurred around 11:00 a.m., but emergency services were not notified until about 30 minutes later. When police arrived, they found the baby alive but bleeding. A neighbor, hearing the child’s cries, had called 911 after seeing the baby from her window. The baby had been in the apartment with three family members before walking out onto the balcony. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall and conducting interviews with the parents. The child was taken to Metro Health Main Campus in serious condition, but police have not disclosed the child’s age or current condition, and no charges have been filed at this time.
