CINCINNATI, Ohio-On Sunday, a gathering was held to commemorate Lamon Wiggins, a recent graduate of Withrow High School, who was tragically shot and killed just hours after his graduation ceremony. Described as an outstanding student with a compassionate heart, Lamon’s principal, Jerron Gray, emphasized his willingness to help others and his love for learning and life.
Police are yet to identify a suspect or make any arrests, but they report hearing additional gunshots nearby when they arrived at the scene. Approximately 50 people gathered in the area where the incident occurred, and Gray spoke in honor of Lamon, expressing deep sorrow and emphasizing the need for support and love for Lamon’s family during this difficult time. He urged the community to provide ongoing support to the Wiggins family beyond the immediate aftermath of the tragedy.
