BARBERTON, Ohio-During the Barberton City Schools Board of Education meeting, presentations were given by two new student clubs at Barberton Primary School: the Kindness Club and the K Kids Club. The Kindness Club, led by Sunni Wallace, aims to spread kindness through random comments and notes. T
he K Kids Club, led by Mindy Jackson, has been involved in various projects supporting veterans and families in need. Additionally, the board approved the appointment of Nick Andric as assistant superintendent, the sale of a district bus, and other administrative matters including recognizing graduating seniors, Destination Imagination teams, and School Library Month. Various agreements and donations were also approved during the meeting.
