In a unanimous decision, the Bay Village Board of Education has appointed Nick Bigrigg as the new head football coach for Bay High School.
Bigrigg succeeds Ron Rutt, who is stepping down after 11 successful seasons to spend more time with his family.
The selection process was extensive, according to Bay Village Schools Athletic Director Matt Spellman.
“We received 36 applications and went through a rigorous screening and interview process before selecting Bigrigg as our next head coach,” Spellman said.
