Bengals Center Ted Karras Pledges to Help Repair School After Vandalism Following WCPO Story

GLENDALE, Ohio -Earlier this week, the historic Eckstein School, recently acquired by the Eckstein Cultural Arts Center, was vandalized. Bill Parrish, the nonprofit’s owner, showed the damage caused by the vandals. Bengals center Ted Karras, moved by the story after seeing it on TV, offered to help. Parrish initially thought Karras’s offer might be a prank, but soon recognized Karras’s genuine interest in supporting the school’s recovery. Karras was deeply affected by the vandalism, which included offensive graffiti and damage.
