BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-Principal Annette Alatorre reflected on her first year at Benjamin Logan High School during the graduation ceremony, expressing gratitude for the warm welcome from the community and sharing four life principles from the book *FISH!* with the graduates. A Moment of Silence was observed for the late Drystyn Turner. Guest speaker Tara Bair encouraged graduates to find happiness wherever they are and outlined three key principles for success.
Valedictorian Joslin Wilber emphasized the importance of overcoming challenges and shaping one’s destiny, urging her peers to embrace self-determination and seize opportunities for a fulfilling future. Salutatorian Madelyn Harmon emphasized gratitude and positivity in shaping futures, encouraging her peers to appreciate life’s blessings and embrace change with courage. The Top Ten Scholars for the Class of 2024 were announced, led by Valedictorian Joslin Wilber and Salutatorian Madelyn Harmon. Superintendent John Scheu confirmed the graduates’ eligibility for graduation, and diplomas were presented to the Class of 2024.
