BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-Bellefontaine High School hosted a successful Relay for Life event at AcuSport Stadium, with students and staff joining forces to fight cancer. Attendees participated in a lap around the track and enjoyed various activities organized by 10 student groups at 13 booths.
The event raised $1,267 in just one hour. The Relay for Life is a national fundraising initiative of the American Cancer Society, aiming to support cancer patients, raise awareness, and fund research. The BHS Relay for Life, organized by teacher Michelle Rohrer, saw active participation from the National Honor Society and other clubs in the school, with students contributing to advertising and fundraising efforts. The event coincided with the last day of classes for seniors.
