A former Ohio State football player and one of his former high school teachers teamed up recently to help empower local students at the Springfield Sports Academy (SSA). Springfield native Braxton Miller, who played at Ohio State and later in the NFL, asked his former teacher Amy Fugate to come out of retirement to take on a leadership role at the academy.
