BROOKFIELD, Ohio-A Brookfield mother, 29-year-old Brianna Daye, is facing seven counts of child endangerment after she left seven children, ages 2 to 10, home alone in poor conditions on October 31, 2024. Authorities discovered spoiled food, human feces, broken glass, and scattered medicine in the home. The children were reportedly left unattended while Daye went to work, though it is unclear if she left them with an adult caregiver. Daye’s children and her sister’s children were removed by Trumbull County Children Services. She had a prior child endangerment charge in 2021, for which she pled guilty to a reduced charge. Daye is set for a pretrial hearing on January 9, 2025.
