BROWN TOWNSHIP. Ohi-A Brown Local student sustained minor injuries and was treated at a Canton hospital after a school bus collided with a pickup truck on Canton Road NW near Bellflower Road NW in Carroll County’s Brown Township.
The crash, which occurred at 3:25 p.m., involved a southbound bus driven by Constance J. Didio-Guist, 62, of Malvern, and a 2019 Ford F-150. Didio-Guist was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead. The pickup driver, a 30-year-old Canton man, was treated for minor injuries at Aultman Hospital. The injured student was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton but did not stay overnight.
