CANTON, Ohio-A Canton preschool, located at the Early Learning Center in the 1500 block of Woodland Ave. NW, was placed under lockdown due to reports of a potential individual with a weapon on school grounds. Canton police and the district security team were promptly notified, and the lockdown was lifted at 11:15 a.m.
once police confirmed the suspect had left the area. As a precaution, classes were canceled for the rest of the day, and students were picked up by their parents or guardians.
