COLUMBUS, Ohio-Kevin Greenwood, Program Director of CASA of Franklin County, has been chosen by the National CASA/GAL Association to co-chair its Urban Leadership Council, where members convene monthly to advise on policies affecting CASA programs in urban areas nationwide.
The council aims to expand CASA programs and share insights among directors. Greenwood, who has been with CASA since 2017, will contribute to developing resources for urban CASA programs and plans to leverage his experience serving around 800 children annually. Additionally, he will join efforts to ensure every child in need has a voice. Other Ohio CASA members also participate in councils focusing on rural, suburban, and tribal areas, collectively striving for the overarching goal of advocating for abused and neglected children.
