Changemakers: A teenager’s mission to make a difference

Seventeen-year-old Audrey Anderson is an honors student at Cardinal Mooney, but outside of school, she is leading something pretty special. She started a crochet and knitting club that meets at the Public Library of Youngstown. The club is called “Hooked on Hope.” During their first meeting, the group created baby blankets and stuffed animals. Audrey said the goal is to create handmade items for children at Akron Children’s Hospital.
