TOLEDO, Ohio-Jeremy Dean Chesser, a Maumee man, pleaded guilty to federal charges of child molestation and child pornography last week. He also admitted guilt to four state charges related to his conduct. Chesser agreed to a concurrent sentence of 14 years and four months in state prison, aligning with his previously agreed-upon 30-year federal sentence. The charges stem from his online communications where he discussed sexual activities with children and shared explicit images with an undercover FBI agent. Chesser’s formal state sentencing is scheduled for August 8, with his federal sentencing set for November 4.
