Cincinnati Public Schools’ board of directors approved the elimination of over 180 positions at its meeting Monday night. The cuts included 32.4 “impact positions,” primarily in central office roles. Twelve teachers, 12 paraprofessionals, and 11 student service positions were eliminated from Early Childhood Education. An additional 109.9 teaching positions and eight social worker roles were also eliminated.
