Clark, Champaign Schools Keep Focus on Safety, Support After Georgia Shooting

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio-, Ohio-In response to a recent school shooting in Georgia that resulted in four deaths, schools in Clark and Champaign counties are emphasizing their commitment to safety and support. Clark-Shawnee Superintendent Brian Kuhn and Northeastern Superintendent Jack Fisher both highlighted their districts’ efforts to support students and staff affected by such tragedies. Fisher addressed a recent scare at Kenton Ridge High School caused by a student’s social media post, reassuring that there was no real threat and emphasizing the district’s commitment to security. The Clark County Educational Service Center has also enhanced its preparedness through crisis response training with the I Love U Guys Foundation.
