DAYTON, Ohio-A suspended Clark County CTC student is being held at the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center after sending threatening messages. On Nov. 13, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a potential threat involving the student, who had previously written a violent fictional story on Nov. 12 that mentioned a classmate. After the student was suspended for violating the school’s code of conduct, similar threatening messages were sent to other students, including a coded message on social media. Cryptographic analysis revealed that the message contained direct threats. The student was detained and charged with inducing panic and making terroristic threats. The investigation is ongoing.
