A local nonprofit is turning the page on childhood literacy efforts with a major fundraising push. The Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank has launched the $2 million “Next Chapter” Capital Campaign to expand its reach and provide more books to children across Greater Cleveland.
Since its founding in 2016, the Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank has distributed more than 4.8 million books to families in need. But as demand for free books grows, the organization has outgrown its current 5,000-square-foot space near downtown Cleveland. To continue its mission, the nonprofit is seeking community support to purchase and renovate a new 24,000-square-foot warehouse on the city’s west side.
