CLEVELAND, Ohio-An eighth-grade student from Marion-Sterling Elementary School in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District was shot Thursday morning shortly after leaving the school with his aunt. The incident occurred in a vacant field near the school.
Police responded to the area and the victim, a 15-year-old boy, was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made yet. The school district confirmed the incident and stated that the student remains in stable condition at the hospital.
