COLUMBUS, Ohio-Columbus Alternative High School (CAHS) has been ranked in the Top 25 high schools in Ohio by U.S. News & World Report for 2024, with a ranking of No. 16 out of 705 high schools evaluated in the state. CAHS achieved an impressive overall score of 97.11 out of 100, reflecting its commitment to excellence.
Principal Dr. Darryl Sanders attributes the school’s success to its dedicated faculty, supportive parent community, and students who embody the school’s motto of excellence. Several other Columbus City Schools also ranked highly in Ohio, reflecting the dedication of staff and students in preparing for success. All CCS schools recognized in 2024 were also included in the 2023 Best High Schools list by U.S. News & World Report.
