Columbus father charged with kidnapping after missing Amber Alert child found safe

A Columbus man faces multiple felony charges after a missing child at the center of an overnight Amber Alert was found safe on the city’s Northeast Side. Columbus police responded around 1:10 a.m. June 28 to a home on the 6200 block of Thornton Avenue, according to a news release. When officers arrived, they found two adults suffering from apparent cuts or stab wounds as the result of a domestic dispute and that a child had been taken from the home.
