April 6th, 2024-COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Columbus Metropolitan Library has received an additional 10,000 solar eclipse glasses and will distribute them for free on Friday starting at noon at the main library branch downtown. Additionally, the library is offering free eclipse kits at all 23 locations, containing activities for adults to do at home. Each adult can receive up to four kits while supplies last. The library has already given out 100,000 free eclipse glasses. They are also hosting a special eclipse watch party at the main library on Monday from 1 to 4 p.m.
