CLEVELAND, Ohio-Tala, a 14-year-old girl from Gaza who was injured in a bombing, has come to Cleveland for medical treatment. She arrived at Cleveland Hopkins Airport where she was greeted by a supportive crowd. Tala’s uncle, Khalil Madhoun, spoke on her behalf, expressing gratitude for the support.
Tala’s journey to the United States offers hope for healing after she lost an eye in the bombing. The medical care she will receive at Cleveland Clinic is facilitated by ‘Heal Palestine’, a non-profit organization. Madhoun, who also received medical treatment in the US years ago, emphasizes the importance of such support. ‘Heal Palestine’ aims to provide similar opportunities for others in Gaza needing medical care.
