The attorney for the teen accused of killing 30-year-old Levonte Hyde said his client watched the man beat his mother to a pulp. The 15-year-old appeared in Hamilton County Juvenile Court on Monday. His lawyer, Clyde Bennett, argued that the teen should be released into the custody of his mother, which would be rare in a murder case.
