DELAWARE, Ohio-Kyle Butler, 38, from Delaware County, was sentenced to 8-12 years in prison for raping a minor. He was convicted by a jury after a three-day trial and sentenced by a judge. Delaware County Prosecutor Melissa A. Schiffel praised the victim’s courage and support system, emphasizing that Butler’s crime might have gone unpunished without them. Upon release, Butler will be classified as a Tier III sex offender.
