MANSFIELD, Ohio-Discovery School will introduce a new STEM program and position for the 2024-25 school year, funded by a $65,000 grant from the State of Ohio. The program aligns with the school’s International Baccalaureate (IB) focus on hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Savannah Gould will lead the program, aiming to engage students in understanding the design process and conducting quality research. The new STEM lab will be equipped with LEGO education kits, iPads, coding robots, and additional computers. The program will emphasize student-led projects and real-world problem-solving, allowing students to explore their interests through research and collaborative activities.
