The Defiance City Schools Board of Education met Wednesday and heard from students and staff about two programs happening at the high school and elementary.
Joe Blake and Dylan Markle, along with two others unable to attend (Justin Fausnight and Gavin Reed) were some of the students being featured as those who’ve completed training through the Defiance Dream Center.
The students explained how they have become certified with level 10 OSHA certificates and learned about basic electrical, plumbing and woodworking as well as automotive repairs.
