DUBLIN, Ohio-Teresa Francois, a substitute teacher at Davis Middle School for 13 years, was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer shortly after being offered her dream job as a full-time math teacher. Despite her illness, she maintained a positive attitude and, before her passing, envisioned creating a fund to support teachers. This led to the establishment of the “Teachers Helping Teachers” foundation. The foundation, which has raised $30,000, provides financial support for classroom needs, continuing Teresa’s legacy of helping educators and impacting her community.
