EUCLID, Ohio-The Environmental Protection Agency revealed that over 530 school districts nationwide, including more than a dozen in Ohio, are slated to receive nearly $900 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
This funding aims to replace older, diesel-fueled school buses, known to be associated with health issues like asthma, with cleaner alternatives. The rebates will facilitate the purchase of over 3,400 clean school buses, with 92% of them being electric, thereby accelerating the transition to zero-emission vehicles.
