‘Every Penny Counts’: 11-Year-Old Trenton Girl Raises Money for Stage 4 Breast Cancer

TRENTON, Ohio-Lilian Moore, an 11-year-old, has been selling popsicles for six years, donating the proceeds to Metavivor, a nonprofit supporting individuals with stage 4 breast cancer. Inspired by her mother’s battle with the disease, Moore aims to fund better medication.

Her stand operates on a donation basis, with all proceeds going to Metavivor. Jackie Allen, a cancer survivor, was moved by Moore’s efforts and shared her story. Moore’s goal is to raise $3,000 and has already collected $1,700. She will continue collecting donations on May 18-19, expressing gratitude for the support received.
