FAIRBORN, Ohio-Fairborn City Schools recently announced the completion of their new high school building, sharing images on social media of moving trucks at the location on Commerce Center Boulevard. The district expressed gratitude to their maintenance team, including custodians and student workers, for their assistance in the move.
This new facility, along with a performing arts center and athletic facilities, is set to welcome students and staff in August. The construction of these new schools, including Fairborn Primary in 2020 and Fairborn Intermediate in 2022, reflects the community’s response to the growing need for educational infrastructure in Greene County, with bond issues passed in 2016 and 2020 to fund these projects.
