CLEVELAND, Ohio-Florida has joined other states in permitting high school athletes to benefit from name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals. The decision was made by a unanimous vote of the Florida High School Athletic Association’s board of directors. Starting from the 2024-25 school year, high school athletes in Florida will be able to engage in NIL agreements.
