CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio-A former Chester Township police officer, Nick Iacampo, pleaded guilty in Geauga County Court to contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child, with a sexual battery charge being dropped. He received a one-year probation sentence and lost his peace officer license. The charges stemmed from an incident involving a 16-year-old girl while he was on duty, which was reported on August 6, 2023. Following an investigation by Chester Township police and Lake County Sheriff deputies, Iacampo was arrested, and the case was presented to a grand jury on November 17, 2023. He had served with the department for four years.
