CLEVELAND, Ohio-Timothy Tatko, a former Mentor elementary school teacher, received a sentence of two years of community control after pleading guilty to sex crimes in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas. His charges included promoting prostitution and disseminating harmful matter to juveniles. Judge Brian Mooney designated Tatko as a Tier 1 Sex Offender and ordered monitoring of his electronic devices by the Cuyahoga County Probation Department. Tatko was among 14 individuals arrested in October during “Operation Spider Web,” aimed at combating child exploitation. Following his conviction, Tatko resigned from his teaching position at Orchard Hollow Elementary School.
