GAHANNA, Ohio-A driver in Gahanna is facing charges after allegedly striking a high school student in a crosswalk at 7:30 a.m. The driver failed to remain at the scene, but was arrested shortly afterward.
The student was examined for injuries at the scene and later went home with their family. The driver is charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian and hit skip, prompting city officials to remind both drivers and pedestrians to exercise caution in school zones.
