COLUMBUS, Ohio-Great River Connections Academy recently held an in-person commencement ceremony at the Ohio Exposition Center in Columbus, honoring over 190 students from its K-12 virtual school for the Class of 2024. School leader Jason Swinehart expressed pride in the graduates’ determination to succeed in an online learning environment.
This marks the school’s sixth graduating class since its establishment in 2018. While many graduates plan to further their education at colleges or universities like Kent State, Ohio State, and others, others intend to pursue military service, vocational training, or enter the workforce.
